The family ate Easter dinner at the Petersen's after church on Sunday. The following people were present: Pete and Janice Petersen, Greg and Paula Koontz, Levi, Meghan, and T.L. Koontz, Luke Koontz and Tiffany, Evan Koontz, Sam, Kim, and Samantha Petersen, Matt, Tiffany, Darby, and Dane Petersen, Charlie, Tarah, and Alex Petersen, Jim, Lucinda, and Maci Oiler, and Tyler and Molli Marham. The food was delicious. My Aunt Janice is about the best cook ever! Her food is always to die for.

Paula made these "egg nests". Jim loves Paula's cookies. These are his favorite no bakes.
After we ate, it was time for the Easter egg hunt. In years past, EVERYONE, young and old, hunted the eggs. The eggs contained anywhere from the $50 prize egg to $1 bills. It was nothing to go home $50 richer than you came. But this year the hunt was only for Darby, Dane, Alex, and T.L. And, it was just as fun!

Sibling rivalry.....Dane used a stick to knock the egg out of the tree, but Darby is the one who picked it up! It was decided a long time ago....first to touch the egg wins!
