Just to let you know.....much more to follow, but
MORGAN
IS
HOME
for spring break.
We have her for a week and two days!
If you ordered strawberries from Maci as a fundraiser for her band trip over Spring Break, I'll be delivering them Wednesday evening between 5pm - 7pm. If you need to arrange another time for me to get them to you just let me know.
As if her visit wasn't enough to cheer anyone, she brought me gifts. A list making pad and a Springy pad of post-it-notes. CaSandra knows me so well. Everyone will be tired of my lists and notes before the day is over. CaSandra even said that Little Miss Kensley swiped these off the shelf as she was riding in the shopping cart. Evidently Kensley knows just what I like.
Thanks CaSandra, you really brightened my day. And now, I'm off to make a few lists......
...the snowmen in the dining room....
...the snowmen hanging on the mudroom door.....
...it's now ready for Spring!
These bunnies were made by my Grandma Ruth Hall in 1972 in a ceramics class she attended. The big one is mine and the baby was (or I guess is) Fred's. I tried to "steal" and I use that term loosely, this baby bunny from him for years when we were younger. I guess he would have only been 1 1/2 years old when Grandma made them for us. Anyway, he never would let me have it. Then, a few years ago it just happened to travel to my house and decided to stay. I really don't remember all the details....just that he's here to stay. They are a set and they belong together. Notice the repaired ear on the mommy bunny....some little girls just had to hold her!
Here is the winter themed kitchen window.....
...now, all ready for Spring!
This little egg on the window seal was also made by my Grandma Ruth. For years when I would go to her house, I'd ask if I could have it and she's tell me that no I couldn't because my Uncle Jeff wanted it also. Well, somehow a few years ago it ended up at my house also, and decided to stay. Again, I can't remember all of the details of the trip. But, it too is staying!!!
These wooden rabbits and chick were made by my Uncle Pete and he gave them to me. They didn't just travel here, I brought them. They are so cute.
The girls bathroom decorations.
A Spring wreath in the dining room. (I bought it myself.)
And lastly, this adorable hanging was made by my adorable daughter, Morgan, when she was in Mrs. Kathy Pletchers kindergarten class. She wrote her name at the top with fabric paint. Of all my Spring decorations, purchased, borrowed, or um...stolen, this is my favorite!
